The original bindings and their custom made clamshell boxes are on show at The Crafts Council gallery in London<\/a>until the 13th of April 2924 as part of covered-uncovered, a joint exhibition by Designer Bookbinders and The Society of Scribes and Illuminators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hand lettered book has been bound by hand by JuJu Books as 6 volumes,<\/a> sewn on linen tapes with hand dyed Japanese paper spine linings, each volume with its own subtle design of debossing, embossing and palladium tooling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


In this stunning calligraphic edition of The Living Mountain<\/em>, Susie Leiper breathes new life into Nan Shepherd\u2019s seminal outdoor classic. Written by Shepherd during World War II, The Living Mountain <\/em>reads like a love letter to the Cairngorm mountains in Scotland<\/p>\n\n\n\n
