bound : unbound were delighted to take part in this years Bookmarks Artist Book Fair at Edinburgh College of Art, Lauriston Place, Edinburgh.

This was the fifth year that Bookmarks was run and it was bigger and better than ever, a really great fair to take part in. Exploring the artists’ book in its broadest sense, BOOKMARKS is a first stop for those interested in bookmaking as an artistic practice. BOOKMARKS focuses on academic study, exploring how artists’ books are used, promoted and created in educational settings.

This year there were a number of exciting additions including a pop-up reading room, live letterpress printing and a Showcase of the BOOKMARKS PRIZE winners 2018, looking at their work one year later. We are all looking forward to seeing the event on again next year. Thank you to the whole ECA team who organised the event.
